This recent annual fund raising celebration was a great success and most agree it was the best one yet.  This black tie gala serves to help fund many IT projects for deserving non-profit organizations throughout the community and over the past ten years, it has attracted the leadership of many leading local corporations.

The co-hosting roles were superbly filled by Cindy Tierney (Beazer Homes) and David Barnes (UPS). They were assisted through the efforts of many sponsors and participating hosts. The list of all involved can be seen here.

Many of the participating leaders provided comments which serve to reinforce their positive view of this entire project:

"The 2010 Digital Ball was one of the best social events of the year!  I was delighted to be in the presence of a sold out crowd celebrating the 10th year of our serving the local nonprofits.”

Barbara Kunkel

Chief Information Officer

Troutman Sanders

“I am constantly amazed at the work that TechBridge continues to do with other nonprofits.  It seems that every year they raise the bar and companies can do better work and deliver better services with their help.  I am certainly glad I am involved.”
Dave Gutierrez
Chief Information Officer
Assurant Solutions
Solutions Technology Partners

“TechBridge is a very unique event where the majority of the tech community join together in one place for a worthy cause.  It is an outstanding event to meet and get up to date with your peers and industry experts.  I love it and have never missed one.”

John Seral

“TechBridge is the place where technologists meet to help bring technology to non-profits. The Digital Ball, the pinnacle of this great cause, once again brought together great people for an evening of celebration, giving, and recognition of community successes.”

“It was a pleasure to serve as a host and it is rewarding to see the community embrace the mission of TechBridge. The Digital Ball always sets a high bar and the 10th anniversary celebration was no exception. It is heartening to know that the event enables the delivery of vital services to so many deserving non-profit organizations.”

"It is great to see the impact TechBridge is having in our community.  Information Technology is a huge enabler, allowing the non-for-profit organizations to serve a larger number of people in Atlanta."

Randy Fox

“Outstanding – a simple word, but one that accurately summarizes the 2010 Digital Ball.    Life goes by too fast sometimes, and it was great to pause for an evening and celebrate 10 years of TechBridge empowering nonprofits in Georgia with technology services that we take for granted in the Corporate world.    Great work Kathleen, Walt, Carrie, and the TechBridge team – you make us proud!”

Joe Oesterling

Chief Information Officer

Cbeyond

“Over the past ten years, it has been wonderful to have watched the Atlanta technology community rally around this tremendous outreach program.  Through the efforts and contributions of so many we have seen the TechBridge community grow in size, capability and commitment.  More importantly, everyone close to TechBridge has seen the power of technology through a different lens – the lens of those non-profit organizations who have a vision of serving others, but only needed a little help. I am so proud to be among the many who serve this great cause.
Bob DeRhodes

EVP Global Operations

First Data Corporation

“A great cause supported by great people in a much better venue.  Entertainment and edible food rounded out the evening.  One cannot forget the fun at the after parties which in all make this the best Digital Ball ever!”

Christopher S. Kenyon

“The Digital Ball was a great event!   Entertainment, venue and camaraderie was amazing.   And of course the moving stories of the non-profits and the real reason that we were all there.   It was the best I’ve been to and already am looking forward to next year!”

Ken Rabun

Chief Information Officer

Manhattan Associates

“The energy was electric at this year’s 10th Anniversary Digital Ball and the event hit the mark across all categories – venue, entertainment, food and most importantly, how positively TechBridge impacts our community. Fabulous way for the technology community to give back to Georgia Non-Profits.”

Sandra C. Hofmann

The technology and efficiencies TechBridge brings to the not for profits in Atlanta is outstanding. Each time TechBridge helps a not for profit we multiply the reach of each organization so they can help more individuals.
