ATLANTA – September 17, 2010 – The Georgia CIO Leadership Association (GCLA) has enjoyed consistent increases with sponsor participation over the past few years and that trend continues this year. This program delivers a high level of interaction between the CIO members and executives of sponsoring organizations. New features of this annual program provide for growing local business relationships while also increasing the exchange of relevant information about technology trends.

The Georgia CIO of the Year® Awards recognize and honor technology executives based on achievement. Awards are divided in to four categories which are based on approximate size; Global, Enterprise, Corporate and Non-Profit. The awards ceremony will take place on October 29, 2010 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
