The Awards honor technology executives who have shown excellence in managing enterprise-wide information systems in Georgia. The CIO of the Year® Awards program will honor Georgia CIOs in following four categories: Statewide Participation This event enjoys the active participation of more Georgia Chief Information Officers than any
other event.
Awards Background Established in 1998, the Georgia CIO of the Year® Awards, presented by the Georgia
CIO Leadership Association, is an annual awards program honoring chief information
officers who have shown excellence in managing their company's or organization's
enterprise-wide information systems. Finalists and award recipients are chosen by a
selection committee comprised of award winners from the previous year.
