About 2010 CIO of the Year® Awards

The CIO of the Year® Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in Georgia. The Awards honor technology executives who have shown excellence in managing enterprise-wide information systems. The CIO of the Year® Awards program will honor CIOs in following four categories:
 
  • Global - Over 2,500 IT users and multinational operation
  • Enterprise - Over 1,000 IT users
  • Corporate - Up to 1,000 IT users
  • Nonprofit - Not for profit organization, government agency, schools in the public sector
  •  

    Participation

    This event enjoys the active participation of more Georgia Chief Information Officers than any other event.

    Awards Background

    Established in 1998, the CIO of the Year® Awards, presented by the Georgia CIO Leadership Association, is an annual awards program honoring chief information officers who have shown excellence in managing their company's or organization's enterprise-wide information systems. Finalists and award recipients are chosen by a selection committee comprised of award winners from the previous year.
