About 2010 CIO of the Year® Awards
The CIO of the Year® Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in Georgia. The Awards honor technology executives who have shown excellence in managing enterprise-wide information systems. The CIO of the Year® Awards program will honor CIOs in following four categories:
Global - Over 2,500 IT users and multinational operation
Enterprise - Over 1,000 IT users
Corporate - Up to 1,000 IT users
Nonprofit - Not for profit organization, government agency, schools in the public sector
Participation
This event enjoys the active participation of more Georgia Chief Information Officers than any other event.
Awards Background
Established in 1998, the CIO of the Year® Awards, presented by the Georgia CIO Leadership Association, is an annual awards program honoring chief information officers who have shown excellence in managing their company's or organization's enterprise-wide information systems. Finalists and award recipients are chosen by a selection committee comprised of award winners from the previous year.
