Murray Kay has been named Vice President of Finance for Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He will report to President and CEO Harold H. Shlevin.

Kay will oversee all financial aspects of the company and subsidiary businesses including accounting, financial analysis, asset management, capital investment planning, financial planning and control and reporting, among other responsibilities. He will also serve as part of the company's Pharmaceutical Management Committee.

Kay has served as Director, Financial Analysis, Planning and Control for Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since 2000, where he was responsible for directing the activities of the analysis and planning functions and for coordinating the company's financial, operational, capital planning and control processes. Prior to joining Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Kay served as Vice President of Finance for Winners International.

Kay earned his bachelor's degree in Accounting from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and his masters of business administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
