The Atlanta 2008 CEO Boot Camp is Offering Three Full Scholarships to Socially Conscious Companies
The internationally acclaimed CEO Boot Camp which draws CEOs from all over the world is offering three full scholarships to early-stage company CEOs that provide social value. This value can include philanthropic work, alternative energy, government reform, educational programs and nearly any other category of social contribution. The CEO Boot Camp, on April 16th and 17th in Atlanta, Georgia, will be the fourth annual event in Atlanta and is sponsored by The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). TAG is one of the south’s largest professional industry associations for technology companies with over 4,000 members. The CEO Boot Camp has drawn experienced CEOs from Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and many other countries because it is the only training of its kind available world-wide. It teaches advanced and practical material that full MBA programs do not even offer.
This intensive 2-day training for CEOs helps move them from seat of the pants entrepreneurship to professional management and leadership best practices. Ideas and models were was collected from the top business minds and books of the last three decades and integrated into a complete system for experienced CEOs.
The founder of The CEO Boot Camp, Bob Norton, has been a serial entrepreneur since 1981 and CEO since 1989. Mr. Norton coaches CEOs from around the world and spent over a year full-time compiling leadership best practices for SMBs (small to medium size businesses) and filtering them based on his own personal experience growing two companies to over $100 million in sales. Mr. Norton is very active in philanthropic work with social causes and has also has raised millions of dollars for these causes during the last decade. All the faculty at the Boot Camp are top experts in their respective areas who have at least twenty years experience. They are also all presidents of their own companies who understand the problems of small businesses making the transition to larger businesses and steady growth.
