They talked with John Dayan, HP's VP of Marketing, Personal Systems Group to get their take on the challenges small businesses are facing with respect to technology, and learn how HP is utilizing Web 2.0 tools to more effectively communicate with small businesses. John also filled the listeners in on how HP is working with SCORE on educating small businesses on the importance of disaster recovery and data backup, a very timely issue on the heels of the devastating fires in southern California.
Brent and Lynn also had a very informative conversation with Wordtracker's chief marketing officer Ken McGaffin on the importance of performing keyword research in order to drive traffic to your website. Wordtracker, with its database of over 330 million search terms, helps website owners and search engine marketers identify keywords and phrases that are relevant to their or their client's business and most likely to be used as queries by search engine visitors. Ken served up some great advice on how to find the right words and phrases to drive the right kind of traffic.
